The "mouse doctor" posted on my blog---he states that this newly discovered (g)lymphatic drainage system has "nothing to do with CCSVI." And that 2 wrongs (the incorrect theories of immune privilege and theory of lack of lymphatics in the brain) don't make a right. I responded.
"Actually, I have spoken with both of the lead scientists at the Nedergaard Lab and the Kipnis Lab here in the US, and they disagree with that assessment. They see how this newly discovered (g)lymphatic drainage system relies on the intra and extra cranial veins for drainage, and there will be studies on how stenosis and venous reflux may be impacting the brain's removal of CSF and lymph, and impacting ALL neurovascular disease. This discovery is bigger than MS, bigger than EAE in mice and I'll continue to blog about it. Two wrongs have injured people with MS for too many years, and I intend to make sure that doesn't continue. Joan" I also gave him links to Dr. Zamboni's editorial, the Helsinki comments and more...all mentioning lymphatic drainage as an area for further exploration. http://ccsviinms.blogspot.com/2015/06/rewrite-textbooks.html?showComment=1435600655398#c6122659262627698080
