CCSVI in Multiple Sclerosis
We've known that smoking accelerates neurodegeneration, or brain atrophy. New study shows quitting smoking slows down neurodegeneration in MS. (I know, I know...did they really need a study?) Good news, at last MS neuros are finally looking at gray matter health in MS, and saying that it is important and there are things we can do to address it. It's all about brain volume. Joan Smoking has been linked to advanced brain atrophy in individuals with multiple sclerosis.
