The Vascular Connection to Multiple Sclerosis shared Canadian Neurovascular Health Society's post.
UBC's Centre for Brain Health writes in their latest research publication "Because the brain is among the most vascularized organ in the body and is composed of hundreds miles of blood vessels, it is not surprising that maintaining good blood vessel health might be beneficial to neurodegenerative disease." Although the study is talking about the neuroprotective role of good cholesterol, we also hope this means UBC is now paying attention to all blood vessel health, including jugular veins! https://www.centreforbrainhealth.ca/news/2017/10/10/cardiovascular-health-key-protecting-brain-against-dementia
