From CCSVI in Multiple Sclerosis: The Department of Neurology at the University of Buffalo is conducting a 5 year longitudinal study of cerebral microbleeds in multiple sclerosis. Cerebral microbleeds were shown to be related to disease progression and disability in a prior UB study of over 400 patients with MS. Cerebral microbleeds are associated with increased physical and cognitive disability in patients with multiple sclerosis (MS), according to new research from the Department of Neurology.
