Saturday, January 29, 2011 7:00 PM | CCSVI in Multiple Sclerosis Volg link

Congrats to all of the volunteers in Seattle for pulling off such a fantastic event!

We all look forward to seeing it on You Tube, and know you will let us know when it's up--

Too bad we can't experience Jackie's Pink Door delicacies that were served via You Tube :-)  They sounded delicious!

Danielle Rhéaume and Kathleen Lynch worked really hard to pull together the doctors and speakers.

Marie Rhodes gave a very compelling presentation on the science behind her new book--

CCSVI as the Cause of Multiple Sclerosis, The Science Behind the Controversial Theory

and Dr. Hubbard was brilliant, eloquent and right on target (as always)

There were so many local people working together to make sure this event was well-publicized and attended.  Tarah, SammyJo, Blake, Pam---you are all inspiring.

Seattle CCSVI is an incredible example of the "go local" movement in CCSVI research, diagnosis and treatment.

We have another exciting event coming up in Tampa, Fl. on March 4th and 5th--this event was also inspired and organized by one local person, Nicki Beagle-Watts

An Educational Symposium hosted by Dr. Bulent Arslan and our first participant event, Opening Minds for CCSVI Walk-n-Roll, to be held in Tampa,FL on Friday and Saturday March 4th - 5th, 2011. Our goal is raise funds to promote education and research about CCSVI and its relationship to Multiple Sclerosis (MS) by providing objective information to the MS community, supporting medical investigations of CCSVI, and fostering collaboration among patients, advocates, and professionals.

If you ever need inspiration, or feel that one person can't make a difference in this crazy world, all you have to do is contemplate the work and dedication of these wonderful INDIVIDUALS...all striving to help other people.  It's what gets us through the tough days...

"Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed people can change the world. Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has."

- Margaret Mead.

thanks, Seattle-- you guys rock!!!
