Christine was a newlywed and starting law school when she was diagnosed with MS in 1990.  By 2003 Christine noticed her MS was slowing her down and it was affecting not only her law practice, but also her ability to be the mother of an active toddler. She was using a cane and forced to leave her two-story home for a ranch house.  Like so many people with MS, her health continued to decline.  In 2010 Christine learned about CCSVI and sought treatment.  Afterwards, she enjoyed significant improvements in balance, stamina, and energy.  Christine also gained hope about the opportunity to battle her debilitating disease.

CCSVI Alliance was established in 2010 by MS patients and caregivers like Christine, interested in promoting this promising new treatment for MS. The Alliance's founders were, and remain, committed to promoting collaborations across medical disciplines to foster the research required to validate CCSVI and to presenting CCSVI objectively, based on accurate, scientific information.

Thanks in part to your generous support in the Walk-n-Roll 2011 Tampa, over the past twelve months CCSVI Alliance has accomplished the following:

  • Hosted educational events for patients and physicians in Boston, Tampa, Chicago, and Las Vegas.
  • Created a world-class website, www.ccsvi.org, featuring objective and accurate information about CCSVI. Recognized as a valuable resource for the MS community, organizations such as the Multiple Sclerosis Association of America (MSAA), and the National Multiple Sclerosis Society (NMSS) now link to the site.
  • Promoted CCSVI research and medical investigations by collaborating with an array of medical professionals and organizations interested in CCSVI. CCSVI Alliance has participated in the ISET, SIR, and VIVA annual medical conferences. The Alliance is a member of the Endovascular Forum and hosts a CCSVI group which reaches across the globe to thousands of physicians.
  • Created a professional, sustainable organization with the help of volunteers from both the patient and medical communities, together with a limited number of part-time professionals.

Our goals are to expand our educational offerings, enhance our website, and continue to promote collaboration and research into CCSVI. In 2012 we will co-host the ISNVD's first patient day in Orlando, Florida and support ISNVD's research into neurovascular related diseases, including CCSVI.

Your continued generosity to CCSVI Alliance will expand awareness of CCSVI, increase availability of objective information about CCSVI, and foster collaborations to improve research into CCSVI.

Please donate today, either online at Donate  or by sending a check payable to CCSVI Alliance to: 14115 W. 59th Place, Arvada, CO  80004.  CCSVI Alliance is a 501(c)(3) organization, and donations are tax deductable to the full extent of the law.

Thank you for helping us open veins and open minds!
