I had my procedure done yesterday in South Bend, Indiana. Alot of you might have seen videos for a man named Irishbear76 on UTube. That is what led me to Dr Duprat at Memorial Hospital. The bottom line was that my right side showed a 60% narrowing and my right side was so small he was afraid to try to do the angioplasty in fear of compromising the vein. I was one of the unfortunate patients. They did the doppler after the procedure as it showed the same as before the procedure was done. I would have still had this done regardless of what happened. I am obviously very dissapointed that it did not work for me. I knew going into this that it was possible it would not work. I hate reading blogs like this, but think it is important that people know the good and the bad. Keep pushing forward people! This is still very new and things are changing all the time.
