Good to be part of CCSVI Locator blog forum, and a member of Angioplasty For All (AFA).

I will let you know how we make out next week! Providence is only 8 hours by car from Woodstock, NB. I will travel through New Hampshire, to Rhode Island with my wonderful wife Susan.

This clinic has done 40 procedures as of Nov.09, according to Dr. Searles, head physician. RIVI did there first procedure in July. He has seen a +/- 100% CCSVI in MS patients. He has seen an incidence of +/- 30% of re-stenosis in the short time the clinic has been doing the angioplasty for MS, and expects a +/- 50% re-stenosis rate over time (or same as Zamboni study). The clinic recommends 3, 6, 9, and 12 month check-ups, by phone or in person if conditions flare up again.

All veins, including Azygos and both Internal Juglar Veins (IJV) can be done at the same time. The (before and after) Doppler ultrasound is free as part of a IRB study at an adjacent hospital.

We do not have to pay $10,000 and travel 10,000 miles to get relief!
