i did not answer a question posed. i am reluctant to stent most veins because the stents will often occlude after 3 to 12 months in spite of coumadin, plavix, asperin etc.certain veins ,such as the common iliac vein, in may-thurner syndrome seem to do well with stents.experience with stents in the internal jugulars is limited but similar sized veins such as the brachiocephalic do poorly . thanks, ed underwood
