MS in San Francisco
One of my friends in San Francisco just came back from Orange County and was treated by Dr. Arata and Dr. Harris at Pacific Interventionalist. They told her that it was their one year anniversary of treating CCSVI patients. Wow! I think that kind of experience should mean a lot to all of us. They've been helping patients from all over the world for the past 12 months. When other hospitals were closing down, they found a way to stay open to treat more patients. That experience is really helping them do a great job... I had a great result when I was treated last month. I hope that my friend has the same great outcome that I got!
I've told other people on this blog last month, it doesn't matter how many centers are doing this procedure. The most important thing is to find a center which has doctors with the experience to back them up! We all saw what happened to our friend in Costa Rica when he was treated by doctors who were not experienced. It's the doctors that we should be looking at when we make our decisions to get treated. It was sad to see someone go to a country or a center which doesn't have very much experience....
