Here is info for anyone going to R.I.

1)first email with general info

2)choose your date

3)your doctor will call you to find out about your MS.meds etc.

4) an info package is sent with a list of hotels.Megan stayed at the marriott(119.00 plus breakfast)the Biltmore is also close by

5)take a cab as the city traffic is very busy and parking is hard to find(less hassles) and the cabs are not expensive.

if you can get a RX for Plavix 75 mg for 30 days ahead of time you will save yourself some money.you will have to purchase 2 injectables of Lovenex to stop blood clots and give them to yourself ahead of the treatment.

the entire process takes approx.50 minutes with most of the time being prep.the angio takes only about 15 min.after you are treated you have to lay still for 2 hours,go back to the hotel and return in the am for another doppler.if you have any reports fromCanada ie doppler and cd take them with you
