CCSVI and Pandas?  Stay with me and you may see things in a new light.

CCSVI is a new treatment for Multiple Sclerosis.  Current thought is that MS is a therory based on the concept that MS is  an autoimmune disorder where the the meylin (sheath wrapper sound nerves) is attacked by the body.  Current treatments attempt to block further exacerbations of MS which can lead to greater disabilities.  There are several good drugs trying to help MS patients lead better lives.  What you have read is the CURRENT common thought on the theory of Multiple Sclerosis.

CCSVI goes differently and aims to fix blood flow from he brain.

Where does the Panda come in to the conversation?  Pandas were thought to be mythical creatures from Asia, similar to Bigfoot.  No westerner had ever seen a Panda.   Reports of these gentle giants of the far east persisted, and the traders were focused on what could be brought back and sold (sound familiar to MS establishment and big Pharma?).  Teas, silks and other goods were the focus of most western expeditions.  But eventually westerners saw the Panda and described it in pictures, paintings and print.  Pandas are found in Zoos, and are the subject of multiple books, movies and tns of other media.

CCSVI goes against the Medical thought of the day.  Drugs address other issues and try to prevent further degradations.   If MS gets worse, you have no real treatment to attempt to turn back the clock.CCSVI actually CAN help.  But it does not help all who have the procedure.  CCSVI does help many who have had the "Liberation Procedre."  There is no way to know how the procedure will help the individuals.  There is a call for studies, which is nice.  But while the Medical Estabishment Fiddles, my meylin burns.  We have the potental for an AH HA moment for this condition, if the disbelievers will open up to new thoughts.  I know that CCSVI is not a cure, but if offers hope where none exists.   Plus, the procedure uses a very common technique of angioplasty that is not experimental.  Rather, offers a new way to look at the silent assassin of MS.  We are not throwing food at the wall for solutions, rather we have something that works for many.  Should everyone have the procedure?  No.  The question is based on the individual.  The answer is simply give people the option.

Go Pandas.
