Twas the night before Christmas at the MS Society,

But Yves and the gang weren't feeling Christmasie,

Two thousand and ten had not been very good,

the Society's goals had been badly misunderstood.

This thing about veins had gone way out of proportion,

Even Freedman had said it was a stupid notion,

Couldn't MSers see how good their Society had been,

Even telling Governments it was too early for this dream.

You cannot give our Members something so untested,

Something in which we have no interest vested, 

Our advising Neuro's have told us it won't mend them,

Only Pharmaceutical Drugs is what we should send them.

Opening veins to let fresh clean blood flow, 

It's only Zamboni's Italian Hoax you know,

But Members didn't listen,  out of Canada they went,

The majority saying it was money well spent,

And the money being spent was going Overseas.

Thus donations were way way down at the Society.

So Yves and his men were going to pretend,

that MS was a disease they really wanted to end.

They came up with a plan to spend money on some trials,

though the outcome was known,  CCSVI was unviable,.

But their trial would be long, don't want it done quicker,

It won't help our cause if our Members don't get sicker.

With smiles on their faces their meeting was ended,

MS is auto-immune,  it really is decided,

Chronic Cerebrospinal Venous Insufficiency we'll pretend to test,

But we'll fight it all the way, until it's put to rest.

And with their Meeting over everything felt so right,

Their bonuses were safe,  and to All a Good Night.
