Am I the only one terrified of having CCSVI treatment? I'm not afraid of something going horribly wrong, but the thought of having a catheter threaded from my groin to my neck FREAKS ME OUT!  When I'm reading others accounts of having it done, it never sounds like the actual procedure was all that traumatic, but I simpy cannot fathom how it could NOT be painful!  I had an ultrasound a while back, and a blockage was found. I WANT to have the procedure done, but I'm tooooo scared to. I think it would require general anesthesia for me to pull it off, and I get the impression that's not how it's done. Anybody know whether getting anesthesia is an option?
