Greetings fellow MS'ers,

I've been venoplastied by Dr. Arslan in Tampa (Clearwater) Florida on Dec. 30th 2010.  WOW is all I can say.  Dr. Arslan is the most compassionate medical person I have ever come across.  The staff at the AI centre amazing.  I was all nerves the day before the procedure until my consult with Dr. Arslan then the nerves vanished.  The procedure was basically pain free.  I went down to Tampa with severe muscle spasms, taking 80 mg of Bacolfen and two zanaflex pills a day.  I returned from Tampa taking 5 mg of Baclofen a day and one zanaflex.  I no longer take Alertec for fatigue.  I was taken off my last try at a c.r.a.b. medication, Copaxone, late November as it didnt do a thing to slow down my MS.  I will be looking into LDN now with more interest.

Whatever venoplasty did for my MS  I have no idea why it works but it does for many.  Dr. Arslan said he does venoplasty for many conditions so why not for MS.  This needs to be an accepted treatment along with the medications available for MS'ers.

I have given Dr. Sandy McDonald the contact information for Dr. Arslan.  The more medical professional we link up the better our success in Canada.

Stay strong fellow MS brothers and sisters.  We will succeed!!
