Pardon my feelings on this subject.

Exhaustion is among the most difficult effects of MS to explain.  MS is soooo individual and not trackable (stage 1, 2, etc.).  I was aimed at progressive and I pray I have turned the battle by having CCSVI done.  I know I am better post procedure.  The fact that there is not a test to prove me correct is just one more part of CCSVI that needs to be added.
#!@&* those who wish us to fight with drugs that have a 33% positive rate with awful side effects.  Needle me and put chemicals in my body that make me feel worse?  Speaking of what should be done to pain merchants like this is something I refuse to do in a civilized communication.
Exhaustion lives in the same MS family as PAIN.  For decades, the medical establishment believed that MS had no pain.  REALLY! And for exhaustion, just exercise and things will get better.

Leeches and blood letting are not available for MS?  At times I feel that we are back in the Middle Ages.  Barbers used to be involved in the medical field.  Do you know why the barber pole has that swirl of red and white?  Because the Barber used to hang his bloody towels outside his front door to dry! I feel akin to the patients of the Middle Ages.  No science need apply, we, the medical professionals, are going to do what we do and you will thank us without question.

Beyond embarrasment for falling and humiliation for being unable to feed oneself, no pain.  My legs can be stiff and hurt to walk on.  I am 41, my grand parents were on track to live to their 90s until a car accident.  My great grand parents lived to their 90s.  I am blessed with great genetics.  Until MS and we have ZERO idea from where it comes.

Please stay with me as  I try to look big picture.  CCSVI is a breakthrough.  A completely new way to evaluate MS.   The procedure does not offer a cure, but for many it is an improvement.  Through this break in the wall, could we maybe see a cure?  We look at mylyn improvements, but perhaps the answer is close.  Sometimes we fight so hard against the common thought problem that the solution is near to our grasp.  I  invite others to get CCSVI as a "snooze bar" to delay onsets of worse parts of MS, then give time for the cure.

Keep fighting and believing.
