Hello All, Well, it's the new year and the time we all are beginning to gather our receipts for income tax. I know it's early still, but I was wondering if anyone who had the procedure has obtained not only the receipt for the procedure itself but also a doctor's letter to back it up? I read a story from the CBC last October about how submitting medical receipts for the procedure could get a 20-25% return on them as medical expenses. The article also suggested your claim may have more merit if a Doctor's letter accompanied it. Both my GP and Neuro were farily supportive of me having the CCSVI treatment last October, but I'm not sure which would be a better boost to my claim ... a letter from the neuro? or GP? I don't think either would say, yes, I whole heartedly support my patient and she needed to have this done for her MS, but maybe saying it was done and where would be enough? Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks
