I went to South Bend last August and had angioplasty on my left jugular vein (80% blockage). I was doing great for about 5 days but I think I restenosed. Since my follow-up was not for another 4 months, I went to Akron for another ultrasound since it's only a 30 minute trip compared to 4 hours to South Bend. I sent the results to Dr. Dupratt and he said the ultrasound didn't warrant doing another venogram. I think he's mistaken but what can I do? Send copies to another Dr. and get on a waiting list for a year? Considering the cost of the procedure (upwards of 16k), I expected a bit more.
