After a lot of jostling of schedules, I am finally go to take the plunge, venture to Southern California and get the testing and hopefully the procedure done. I hear a lot of good things about the Doctors and the facility at PI, and am so hoping this will work out for me.I would so love to lose the brain fog, fatigue and walk better I can just taste it. Have only had MS officially for 2 years and have kept myself in good shape lifting weights and doing Pilates and trying to walk. Walking has deteriorated pretty badly as my lower back hurts all the time and my legs quit wanting to step properly after about half a mile. I use walking poles and find I am leaning on them heavily by the time I get home and need a tens unit for about an hour after getting back. I find if I count Left, Right, One, Two I can get a little more out of my legs as I go along but not much. Listening to music with a good beat helps too. Everyone tells me if I would walk slower I could go farther. Being an ex athelete, this is impossible for me. If anyone has any encouragement to give me about Pacific Interventionlists, I really need it. Now I have made the decision, scheduled and given a down payment I am scared to death. I will be doing my "thang" on February 16-21st.
