J.C.
I am one of those in the last 1/3 of no improvements list. I have looked at the posts of no improvements on THISISMS but it did not shed any light on why we arein this group.I have had MS for 10 years and have not worked for the last 5 years so I think this has helped the slowed progression for me. I still have very minimal desability. Walk with a cane out in public ,it helps with balance.Would need a walker if going to a Mall that has no shopping cart. Foot drop when I get tired. Also left hand can not be used for typing and other functions.Fatigue is an issue but can still function fairly good.My EDSS would be about 2.5 or so. I have balance and bladder issues.I had my veroplasty done NOV. 16, had both jug. 70% restricted and the Azygus was twisted like a candy wrap,it was all fixed with proper flow the next day. I saw no improvements at all. There was a note from Dr. Sinan from Kuwait said " If there is no improvement it is because something was missed" Now I think this was noted some time ago. I have not seen any other reports on this issue or anyone going back for 2nd time. I will be getting Doppler tomorrow for my 3 month mark. If every think is flowing I would provbably not qualify for the procedure again. I would like your opinion on this issue . I will not stop at this, there has to be something else. 1/3 is still a lot of people that it did not work or see any improvements. Maybe there are other veins. Please tell me what you think. Dr. Siskin in Albany "1/3 imediat,1/3 slow,1/3 no improvements"
