Clarification - I checked with PI and I confirmed that FlyGTE does not charge any service fee on the hotel bookings. It is completely FREE and we just need to make the payment directly to the hotel. They have signed an agreement with PI for helping patients like us. I am re-posting this because after talking to some past patients, I was not sure about the facts and so just confirmed today.

Just received this email from FlyGTE, the travel company which makes arrangements for PI patients so thought of sharing it here...

They have negotiated specially discounted hotel rates for their customers going to PI. It has been a great help so far with flight tickets and wheelchair accessible van, as I also need a caregiver to look after my sister. Their toll-free number is 1.888.935.9483. You can also call up Marvin (714.202.4665) at FlyGTE or can even directly inform the hotel for the FlyGTE rates.
