I just had my 3 month follow-up ultrasound done at home in Canada and not in a private clinic. You can do it to. Just after your procedure you need to do a bit of work to get healthy. This is the same for f/u care. Get the names of all the Interventional Radiologis at your closes hospital. Send them a note asking there vues or opinions on Venoplasty . And wait for there answeres, it could take some time. Some should have a open mind and is intereted in this but not all will. Ask if they would give you a ultrasoun of you jugulors. It is not ilegal to do so. You will need a referal from you doc.  I asked my GP and the ball started rolling. The teck at the hospital told me she could not do the test because it was not something she dose but the IR doc. would come and do it himself. He was great had no hesitation and found the jug and found it stenosed. Get him to give you a report and copy of the views on cd. And that was it. I say that today . It did take some time and I did not tell anyone the name of the doc. not that he had asked. I just did not want anything to go wrong or someone put the bracks on this. Just do not give up because someone said you will not get your care. Keep asking till you get what you want or need. I am sure I am not the only one that asked and got. GOOD LUCK EVERYONE
