I am curious as to how many of you had the procedure and your azygos was found clear?  Since most of the damage from my MS is in the spinal cord I was surprised that mine was found to be OK.

I know that Dr. Zamboni found that in patients with spinal cord damage that the azygos was involed in about 86% of his patients.  This has been an issue for many of the IR"s doing the angioplasty and not able to reproduce Zamboni's findings.

I had no real improvement from the procedure from any of the sypmtoms that relate to my spine.  Things now seem to be getting worse and I wonder if I am having another relapse once again in the spinal cord?

Just wondering what your results were, did they clear your azygos and how much damage do you have to your spinal cord?

Thanks for any input.
