Good Morning:

I'm scheduled to receive my treatment the second week of March in Fla.   I got my second dobbler-ultrasound yesterday in Barrie as per the request from the clinic. At this time I asked about getting an MRV here in Canada before going south.

I was told it was not needed as per the Zamboni protocol and that it was just a $1,000 money grab by the clinic in Fla. That to receive the procedure all is need was the ultra sound and blood work until the procedure was started.

According to my booking, I'm to get this MRV the day before as per my preop consultation with the Doctor.

Can anyone enlighten me as to if this is true?  Is this MRV needed or just an extra unneccessary test & charge?

Thank you.

R.S.
