Ms. Aglukkaq,

Please expedite the research of Chronic Cerebrospinal Venous Insuffiency in those faced with the challenges of Multiple Sclerosis. A broad based standardized clinical trial is more than warranted for the venous angioplasty procedure to be investigated. This procedure is seeming less and less experimental when various agencies are collecting questionable data on the procedure from various sources.

As intrigued I was upon its introduction in late 2009, I was eager to help prove or dispel Dr.Zambonis theory. Canadians with MS have been given a disservice as the anecdotal evidence has shown the procedure beneficial more often than not.

Surgeries, from what I've noticed, have been modified and altered to be beneficial as knowledge is gained. As well, I'm aware there are common widely used pharmaceutical compounds which are not totally understood.

Ms. Aglukkaq, I have primary progressive MS and have no drug, treatment or therapy to explore. My personal symptoms lean toward circulatory issues but I cannot open a dialogue with a blood flow specialist.to discuss my concerns.

Certainly, in any case, Canadians should not have to travel hundreds of miles and spend thousands of dollars to make available questionable results from rogue angioplasty providers.

Canadians with MS are eager to partake in a proper clinical trial study of CCSVI which is the suggested course of action. The symptoms of MS worsens with time, as you know, and I others are waiting for the Progressive Conservative government decisions addressing our concerns immediately because an eleventh hour effort would be unaceptable.

                                                                                                    Thank You,
