Hi all,

I wanted to send out an update since I've been back for almost a week. My veins and valves have been all fixed up and I had a stent placed in my azygos vein because it is being compressed by my aorta, preventing proper flow. It's interesting, because I felt the stent go in (and still know it's there, but it doesn't bother me) and realized I've been having pain in that part of my body for years. Every few days or maybe once/week, I'd feel this tight squeezy stabbing in that exact area and wonder WTH was going on. Now I think it may have been the compression stopping the blood flow in that vein!

I'm still feeling some pain in my neck, so I know they did a number on me. Dr. Arata stated that they barely treated me in Costa Rica... he reviewed the images from my treatment there and was quite surprised at how much they missed, and didn't do. I KNEW IT! My gut always knew something wasn't right after that procedure.

I am 100% confident that I received the full treatment to the extent of their capabilities and knowledge in California. I feel some very slight differences... my core seems a bit stronger, I am definitely breathing better, and I know my circulation has improved. Time will tell, as I hope over time the improved blood flow will heal some of those lesions on my brain and I will see improvements! I'm disappointed I haven't seen "instant results" and I still struggle to walk a few steps, but I'm TRYING to stay positive and believe time will heal.

After all charges have been added up the total cost for treatment related expenses is $13,037.79. Add to that the approx. 10% in fees Go Fund Me and PayPal take, my $15,000 goal was pretty accurate. I also lucked out because the Canadian dollar has been so strong, the credit card charges ended up being a tad less than the US amount I paid down there for everything :) I'm happy about that. Thank you again for all your support, whether it be emotional or financial or both! It's all rather overwhelming.

At the advice of some friends I need to stay off my Facebook news feed for awhile so I stop getting worked up over all the bulls*** that is going on with our government and CCSVI, and focus on the positive, and my own healing.
