I've been back for a few weeks but very busy with office work. I want to 1st say that the people at PI took exceptional care of me, from the transportation driver who got me to & from all of my appointments, the hotel staff at the Hyatt, the staff at both clinics that were so helpful & one of the nicest Doctors (Nancy Grewal) that I have ever met.

Southern California was like paradise, warm & sunny every day, we left the airport in NL during a snowstorm & we came back during one as well but it was so good to be home.

I had gone for this procedure with the only expectation of more energy, it seemed that even the people who didn't get any improvement experienced this & anything else would have been a bonus.

The MRV showed that I had a 50% blockage of the left jugular vein (my weak side, so I have to wonder) & a 50% blockage of my azagous (sp) vein. I didn't feel any difference immediately  after the procedure & I was disappointed but my blood was very thick so I hoped that was the reason for no improvement. I was started on a 2 week supply of bloodthinners &  told that it may take weeks or even longer before I saw any improvement.

I came home with a heavy heart, I knew that this had been my one chance to get some part of my old life back & I kept thinking about all the money that I had spent ($14000 plus), I would have been very depressed if I hadn't been so busy. Fast forward 2 weeks later & I began to feel very energized, I moved faster, had less stiffness, cooked a # of times & did lots of cleaning. I was feeling the best that I had in years but I was afraid to hope that it was because of the procedure, thinking that maybe I was just having a really good week. One day I realized that my feet & lower legs didn't feel their usual ice cold so I was sure then that it was working.

One week later I started to feel almost as fatigued/stiff as before & I was devastated until I realized that I had a sinus infection, a slight cold & my temp was up but now I'm back to feeling so well that it's overwhelming. It has been an emotional rollercoaster & I'm sure that in the future every time I feel that I may be experiencing an old symptom I will feel scared that the miracle may be over. I don't regret going for it at all, I only hope that everyone having this procedure will have good results as well.

To anyone that doesn't feel any improvements immediately following the procedure remember that it still can happen later, I am proof of that.
