As I have said before, me and my husbands expectations where very minimal, if at all, for CCSVI treatment - stemming from length of MS, almost 18 years, and a medical background - but miracles do happen and it was worth a try.

I has now been almost a month. After the second day I thought OMG this is a miracle in it's own. Less restless leg syndrome, no urinary urgency, fabulous vision, better balance (not wall walking anymore!)

Small things have happened in the days ensuing, opening the lazy susan with my foot and catching it with my other foot before it fully opened. Silly, but huge for an MSer! I was standing in Starbucks with my daughter and said "Wow", look at the trees, they all have individual branches and the colours on the cars and buildings are so bright.

This weekend I walked to the park, no cane, no scooter, with the dogs and kids. I have not done that for 6 years. I either take my scooter or drive. Today we went again, but this time I continued into the forest for my normal walk with the dogs, after the forest we ran into friends playing baseball. We played for 3 hours. I haven't hit a baseball in at least 20 years. Me, fast walking bases (can't run) and playing outfield turns out I'm a heavy hitter too! and after, we walked home. I even went out back into our large yard and picked up dog pooh.

So for me, my bucket list does not contain wild exciting things like most people. Mine now consists of doing things I haven't been able to do for almost 20 years - things that I thought I would never be able to do again.

This weekend I got to tick off 3 things - Yahoo!!! and thank you for the miracle.....
