We went to Merida, Mexico on September 22nd for the ‘Liberation Treatment’ for MS.  I just can’t say enough about Tashia who had a fundraiser at Rodeo Bar and Grill.  She got innumerable door prizes and silent auction items donated from businesses.  She and Bryan did an excellent job.  We took air miles from Saskatoon to Cancun.  At Merida, Reg got an MRI and Doppler ultrasound.  The next day, he received the ‘treatment’.   An angioplasty in the neck veins and the azygos vein in the chest. He had narrowing in both jugular veins and in the azygos vein.  Almost immediately, after the procedure, his circulation improved. His feet weren’t purple anymore! We have a DVD of how the veins were before, the treatment and how the veins are now. He can use his right hand again. Was able to make the sign of the cross a couple of weeks ago which was the first time in about 15 years, before was using his left hand. His tongue is not thick anymore. Making his speech more audible.  In Mexico, he was advised to do therapy, which he is. He is also able to now lift his backside off the bed about five inches while laying on my back.

In Reg’s case, there were three vascular surgeons and a neurologist.   All spoke fluently in English.  Both the hospital and staff were immaculately clean.  The nurses were very professional, dressed in white with proper hats.  Such as this country’s nurses of long ago. Regarding WorldMedAssist’s work and guidance I say: Thank you!!
