Well, I have had round three.  Round 2 was great and lasted 6 months, but then I traveled, had trouble sleeping and stresses; and symptoms came back.  So, I thought, on to round 3.

It was a shock but my veins were clear.  No blockages. Nothing to fix.  On the table but nothing to do.  Oh, the doctor gave it the old college try.  He got rid of the valves, ballooned  a few already open veins, did the azygous even though it looked clear, etc.  But no luck.

So, symptoms came back and are still here.  Trouble walking, writing and speaking.  Yikes.

So, what's to be done?  Not MS drugs, which I've never taken and don't plan to start.  I react badly to drugs.

Street drugs?  Find the Lord (No offense to anyone who has taken this route, I am deeply spiritual but this is not my path)?  Accept my fate?  Euthanasia?  Drinking heavily?  None of these are for me.

I'm going to try Terry Wahl's intensive nutrition, Kathryn Simpson's hormone research, Betty Iam's exercises. the BBD (which I've been on).  Straight healthy nutrition and exercise, to let the body heal itself.  It has before, I was symptom free for 9 years after the first attack and then 3 years after the second.  Then I had a third in 2009 and it never left.

I don't regret the treatments I had, they did help and I had some decent months.  I don't know why it's this way, but I never did know why and no one else does, either.

So onward and forward, a step at a time, into the future.
