Lets talk about blood.

Some people pass out at the sight of blood.

I have never had that problem.  Last year I fell off our backyard deck.   I hit a cement planter and split my head open with a healthy 2 inch gash.  I got up from the ground, saw blood on my hands and began the next stage of duties.  I was up early in the morning feeding our rabbit.

I looked at my hands, saw blood, and walked into our cabana.  Lots of blood on my face.  Cleaned face in sink.  Just lots of blood from a simple gash.

Got showered and cleaned up and went to doctor's office.  Got the gash cleaned and stitched up.

I mention this event because of what happened yesterday getting my steoid needle removed.

First, I hate needles.  Despite shots, injections and over 10 years of MS needles, I still live in fear of needles.

The final steroid got into my body and the needle was removed.  I had my fist pumped for no good reason.  Just a fist.  Nothing special.

The gauze pad went on to the spot where the needle had been.  Tape on gauze.

And I looked at the gauze.

"A lot of blood here," I said calmly.

The nurse looked and saw what I saw and kept cleaning and filling out papers.

The blood flooded the tape under the gauze.

I was not light headed, but knew excess blood from experience.   Finally the nurse brought in a 4X4 gauze pad and it was taken care of properly.

Cool head, positive solution.

Be calm and anything is possible.

God Bless Us.  Let Us Heal.
