?Introduction, beginning with a definition of Phrenology: The study of the shape and protuberances of the skull, based on the now discredited belief that they reveal character and mental capacity. However, while phrenology has long been identified as a pseudoscience, it did help make important contributions to the field of neurology. Thanks to the focus on phrenology, researchers became more interested in the concept of cortical localization, an idea that suggested that certain mental functions were localized in particular areas of the brain. -Shirl Now an article by Andrew Wilner: http://www.medscape.com/viewarticle/745162 This is the same man who interviewed Mark Freedman re CCSVI back in May: ?http://www.medscape.com/viewarticle/742590 Freedman says, "If it ain't broke, don't fix it". By saying this he is trying to trivialize all the research that has been done until now and deny that CCSVI exists. - Shirl
