The Grande Prairie CCSVI Society isn't happy with the government's move to start up an MS observational study.

President Debbie Golden says the government should be moving to clinical trials to see if the CCSVI treatment is good to go in Alberta.

Golden says the study is a waste of time, that will mean more pain and suffering for MS patients.

She doesn't understand the holdup.

"I don't know who they're trying to make happy, because they're sure not making MS patients of Alberta that what the procedure happy, or their families, or their caregivers."

Golden says she's disgusted that MS patients need to spend about 15-thousand-dollars to leave their homes and have the treatment in another country.
