This is a major pain. Revenue Canada has asked for all receits for my liberation expenses. Thank God I kept them all. They gave me 30 days to respond. I had a copy of a letter from my Doctor, which they asked for, and wanted to know why I didn't get the job done in Canada. The next question was "where is the closest place that offers it". Not sure they were impressed with the $2980.00 plane ticket. The medical visa to India is also being questioned. Guess I will just keep my fingers crossed.
