Hi Guys,

I'm a fan of the Locator.  For me it started my journey to liberation and provided many signposts along the road to my treatment.  It has given me inspiration from hearing the journeys of others who have sought treatment of their ccsvi condition.  It has introduced to me many individuals who go through the same, and often worse, plight that I have gone through.  It has provided information on sites that treat ccsvi, news stories on developments in this fight and also of other patients' treatment of ccsvi.  It gives us a forum to speak our thoughts to those who understand.  For me personally, I have made friends through the Locator and one friend in particular was the ultimate voice of reason just 2 days before my treatment and she helped me to remain calm with respect to the procedure which had me very nervous.  I will forever remain thankful for her words of wisdom.

In the past week I have received a request as have all of our members to help Ken keep the Locator going.  Ken has asked for a total of $250 to pay for the year's bills which will keep the Locator up and running.  We have over 5,800 members.  Perhaps not all of them are active, but if even 1,000 of those 5,800 members are active, then that works out to 25 cents per person.  A quarter!  I understand that many of us are on disability or do not have the means to help the Locator, but as a whole community, I am sure that this can be done.  A more recent e-mail from Ken stated that they were half way there, so again using the same math, a dime per person canm help keep the Locator running for another year.

I personally enjoy the Locator and I have no doubt that everyone else who is active on it do as well.  I haven't been asked by anyone to write this, but I felt compelled because I know what the Locator means to me and how much I would miss it if it were not here.  I also know that Ken posts an enormous amount of news and research on the Locator and for that he deserves a big thank you.  It's one thing to host the site, but to also be constantly searching news, posting new blogs, offering advice and information, and just being an ear to listen is absolutely amazing.  Without this site, I may probably still be searching for information on where to get my treatment.  Today, 2 days later after liberation, my healing continues.  So how about sending Ken a quarter to tell him you care?
