It 'was recently published in Polish magazine Przeglad Flebologiczny (Phlebological Review) a new study team lead by Dr. Marian Simka confirming once again the data on the correlation between multiple sclerosis and chronic cerebrospinal venous insufficiency (CCSVI) discovered by Dr. Paolo Zamboni, Director of Vascular Diseases Center, University of Ferrara.



The Polish researchers have treated 94 patients with endovascular treatment for symptoms of their multiple sclerosis.



After a median follow-up that lasted six months has been reported in patients receiving an improvement of the symptoms of multiple sclerosis majority being chronic fatigue and sleep.



According to the authors of the study this confirms these preliminary results, therefore, the findings in previous studies with positive effects of endovascular treatment for venous disease in patients with multiple sclerosis, by encouraging and justify further studies on this topic.
