Twin brothers from Fruitvale are up and walking after receiving a controversial multiple sclerosis treatment that opens up constricted veins in their necks, reports Val Rossi at the Trail Daily Times.

Matt and Dan Berukoff received the treatment in Mexico. It isn’t available in Canada. Matt was in a wheelchair before the treatment.

“I don’t have too many complaints, when I first went down, I was in pretty bad shape,” said Matt. “I couldn’t walk at all – it’s a miracle.”

The brothers are back enjoying life – fishing, golfing and taking care of the hobby farm they inherited.
