Ken Torbert
Dr Sclafani has been reviewing some of his data which he is submitting to SIR for presentation in March. He told me that IVUS picks up many valvular stenoses in the azygous that could not be seen by venography and that by using IVUS to select balloon sizes his complication rate dropped to about 1%. Personally, I went to Dr. Sclafani for my 3rd procedure. He found 2 valve issues that had been missed by previous procedures with another Dr. One of those valve issues was causing restenosis. Since my procedure with Dr. Sclafani 10 months ago, I have been living free of MS symptoms. The only thing I experience is some cognitive issues caused by scar damage in my frontal lobe. I love not feeling the rest of the MonSter's grip on me! And wearing all these fabulous high heels, priceless!!!! ;) Dr. Sclafani does not have a long wait to see him.
