It was so gratifying to read the abstract by DrFox and colleagues read at the recent combined meeting of american and european researchers studying multiple sclerosis. In it the showed that patients with multiple sclerosis had not only stenoses, but also intraluminal abnormalities such as immobile valves, webs, septum, duplication and membranes. This is no suprirse to me as i have been seeing such abnormalities since 2009 because I use intravascular ultrasound as part of my diagnostic evaluation. The Fox abstract helps me put names on things i have been seeing "virtually" by ultrasound. I really look forward to some of the pictures they will publish showing the information.

it is clearly of importance and interest for everyone to see these abnormalities, so i am going to post as soon as i can a video showing how IVUS detects these abnormalities INSIDE the vein and how IVUS can be used to tailor the treatments.
