Had a very good meeting with my Health Minister in Saskatchewan on Friday December 2nd. All I can say is a detailed announcement will be coming out mid December 14th or 15th for patients in our province who want to apply to take part in the trial in Albany. I know first hand how much they all care and want to make a difference with this. The final details are just being sorted out right now with Dr Gary Siskin.

We also talked about the Federal trials and he is going to make it known that phase 1 start is a waste of time and $. He agreed we allready do this vascular procedure in Canada so why do we need to prove the safety of it?  He most definately agreed with me these should start at phase 2 and this is the position we will make known to our Federal Health Minister on behalf of Saskatchewan residents.

There will also be more exciting news coming out after the deal with Albany is all final, we are not done yet with good news coming out of Saskatchewan by far!!

Regards,

Michelle Walsh
