I am getting so excited and very nervous.  I leave December 18th for my second CCSVI treatment.  It will be nearly a year from when I had my first treatment done December 30th 2010.  I can't wait to get my life back on track.  Just to refresh memories.  November 2010 I was told by my neurologist there wasn't anything more Canada could do for me to treat my MS.  She strongly suggested I should start using a walker as I was too unstable using a cane.  She also mentioned I should start mentally preparing to use a wheel chair come spring 2011.  I agreed with her and left.  I was already booked for my CCSVI treatment.  I didn't tell her because she was a neurologist who did not believe in CCSVI.  Hey it's a vascular issue anyways.

I went for my treatment and my life with MS changed dramatically.  I no longer had to take 90mgs of Baclofen and 20 mgs of Zanaflex a day just to function somewhat.  I no longer felt like I had cotton batten in my head.  I could form thoughts and speak them and remember what I said.  I no longer had to sleep the moment I woke up from a night's sleep.  Unfortunately my veins didn't behave and I re-stenosed.  I have been going down hill since.  No panic.  I knew our mortgage was up for renewal.  We included the cost of a second procedure in our new mortgage.  By the way the first procedure was covered by two fundraisers and a In Trust bank account anyone could donate too.  Also a lot of local newspaper coverage.  I am in Canada and this isn't covered here.  Lord it isn't even a treatment option.

We are heading to Trenton NJ.  Dr. James Muguckin http://vascularaccesscenters.com/PublicPages/MeetOurCCSVIPhysicians.aspx will be performing the second procedure.  Many of my Facebook fellow CCSVI'ers have gone to him either for their first or their second procedure.  He is on the leading edge of the CCSVI world.  I know I am in great hands.  I have complete trust.  He spoke at a CCSVI conference here in Ottawa ON Canada November 5th of this year.  I knew then I made the best choice for me.

I will keep you all posted on my experience with my second procedure.  If I don't post before Christmas I wish you all a supreme Christmas and may all of your hopes and dreams come true in 2012.
