On behalf of the all-volunteer Board of the National CCSVI Society, I am delighted to announce our application to the Canadian government for full charitable status has been approved. Thank you to our former and current Board members who worked on our application and volunteered at our many events, and to the hundreds of individuals who donated to us as a new organization. We are now poised to begin a new chapter as a Society supporting CCSVI education and research across Canada.

The new year brings promise as we reach out to physicians and researchers across Canada and around the world to share the latest in CCSVI developments, foster multidisciplinary collaboration among stakeholders, and support the needs of patients and caregivers. Building on our well-received CCSVI education sessions, conferences, and webcasts, we are excited to continue into 2012 delivering CCSVI education and support programs reflective of the ever-changing CCSVI landscape.

We would like your help to spread our news. Please tell those who may be able to help us build our organization, especially those with experience in the not-for-profit sector. Any donation of $20 or more will now be eligible to receive a charitable tax receipt. Thank you!
