Hi all I'm going back for surgery # 2.  This time in New Jersey with Dr. McGuckin at V.A.C. It's been a year since I restenosed and I've been saving up the cash to do it again. My progress was great, I was now walking unassisted and headaches were gone after I returned from Synergy in California. It only lasted 4 months. Dr Arata did my surgery but provided no follow up care so I'm trying a new place and Dr. that is more aggressive in treatment.  Before I made this decision I called Synergy and asked about getting a jugular stent and was told that they would not give me one, they have decided not to do them in jugulars anymore due to public saftey. I'm afraid if I don;t get one I will be back at square 1 again 4 months from now. I'm not sure if Dr. McGuckin will do it but I will find out when he gets inside and has a look around at my jugular.  Surgery is on the morning of the 21st of March, a few days away. I"m hoping that surgery # 2 will last longer, even if it's long enough to get it done in Canada next time I need it done.  Wish me luck. ( I'll report back soon)  Norma
