Morning arrived and I was feeling very sore. All I can say is thank god for my cath, I just didn't want to get out of bed that day. Walking just wasn't possible for me. Unfortunately  the larger cut the Dr. had to do to get a proper amount of vein required a little more recovery time. Doing more self assessment the next day I felt that I had a little more improvement. Maybe it was the morphine and I just didn't notice last night. My right hand has 95% feeling back, my left 75% and my feet at about 50%. I haven't had one headache since and I need to get new glasses as now I need to pull my glasses down to the end of my nose to see my computer screen. I am thrilled, I can feel my husbands hand for the first time in 5 years. I can wiggle my toes, bend my knee. After lunch and a short nap I felt like hope was creeping in cautiously that I may be standing and walking unassisted within a few short months. I start thinking about returning to physio when I get home, I have already turned my dining room into a gym and I'm looking forward to using it again. Many people came in to see me that day and check up on me. It was comforting to know so many people were looking out for me. It's a slow day and I needed it that way. Tomorrow will be a much busier day so I need my rest.
