I found this information ON THE RECORD, in the on-line Massachusetts Senate Journal on this date: July 14, 2003 Journal of the Senate, where it clearly states that Governor Romney DISAPPROVED OF A MEASELY $162,368 OF MS FUNDING for services, even though his wife, Ann HAS MS.

This is the most shocking item Governor Mitt disapproved of, funding for Multiple Sclerosis. This link includes Governor Romney's MS funding disapproval. Once you open this document, use FIND feature and search for "MS PASS."

July 14, 2003 Journal of the Senate: Section 620, 10:

(10) $162,368 for the MS PASS program, so-called, as previously established at the department of public health. Said funds shall be expended to maximize matching dollars to be used for services provided by the program as managed by the Central New England chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
[The Governor disapproved this item.]

As heartless as this sounds, trying to defund MS spending is a drop in Mitt's "The Governor disapproved this item" bucket list. Governor Romney disapproved of funding for The Special Olympics, for VETS, for The Blind, and many programs to help the disabled, food for kids, and services for the elderly.

THIS IS GOVERNOR ROMNEY'S RECORD AS GOVERNOR. Can you imagine the damage a President Romney, backed by the heartless Ryan and the Tea Party candidates, could do to "the least of these" among us?

I spent hours reading Massachusetts Senate records on-line to compile the lists of laws then newly elected Governor Romney disapproved of and tried to cut funding for during his first year ON THE RECORD as recorded by the Massachusetts State Senate Journals.
