I endorse noting written about here, but Medicare has authoried the U-Step2 when a need is seen.  I use these products personally.

MS has caused a few problems.

Balance and leg drop are the most obvious.

I have used a walker for about 2 years.  My balance does not work with a cane. I have use a walker that is a conventional "rollerator."  It is OK, but not substantial and needs weekly replacement of tennis balls.  I have not noticed it has not given the support i have needed in an emergency.

I went to the near and was asked to do the timed walk and she had me walk with a U-Step.  I moved with it and found it much more substantial than the rollerator.  I have avoided a fall by twisting into the seat.

I have used the walker for a few weeks and find it excellent.  I have not traveled with U-Step yet as it is heaver than the rollerator.

Leg Drop continues to be a bitch.  I have heard my right foot crack numerous times daily. I have tried AFOs and other options.

I introduce you to the step smart.http://www.swedeo.com/step_smart.htm

I have not gotten this product yet but it offers great opportunity for fixing my problem of foot drop.  Lets see if this works.

I found the smart step on ccsvilocator.com.  If the start step works, great.

If not, I have already worked out the return.

A video oI found after I had ordered the step smart.
