So I went for a Doppler ultrasound the other day. It will be three years in September since my angioplasty.

I had the angioplasty in Cabo San Lucas and the recent Doppler in Calgary.

Originally I had restricted blood flow on both sides and did functional valves. Post angioplasty I have restricted blood flow on my left side still causing reflux. Post angioplasty, last July my MRI results showed new active lesions. However in my opinion the lesions didn't look as bad as previously.

I should also mention that I have never been on any MS drug or anything aside from antibiotics for the odd sinus infection. After the angioplasty I got pregnant and had a baby whom I breastfed, which is supposed to be MS protective.

So I feel like the angioplasty was beneficial to me however the disease is still active.
