Do you schedule my air flight trip and accommodations? Our coordinators will reserve your hotel-airport accommodations. Patients and companions reserve their own air flight itinerary.
How do I schedule an appointment with Clinics of the Heart? Our scheduling process is rather simple and straightforward as you only need to follow these very simple instructions:
1. Select your desired dates for travel and treatment.
2. Email the treatment coordinator at info@cardioabroad to check procedure date availability, you may expect written confirmation of your selected date within 24 hours.
3. Reserve your flights (Allow for at least a 7 night stay in Cozumel Island )

Is there a waiting list for the CCSVI Treatment? There is no waiting list and no-deposit or pre-payment is required.

How much is the hotel package you offer? If you choose to stay at the waterfront Coral Princess Resort the cost is $925.00USD for the one week stay for patient plus one companion and round trip airport transportation. In Cabo San Lucas, the Marina Fiesta resort package is also $925.00USD.
Does the hotel require payment prior to me arriving? No, all payments are processed after your arrival with our clinic coordinator.
Will someone meet us at the hotel? Yes, the clinic coordinator will meet you at the airport and/or at the hotel lobby to explain you the agenda and medical appointments.
A handicap friendly vehicle will pick us up at the airport? Absolutely, please advise prior your arrival so we can proceed to reserve the appropriate vehicle for you.
Does the hotel have an all inclusive package? The hotel package at Coral Princess in Cozumel provides All-inclusive package, however, patients of the Clinics of the Heart are free to book the accommodations of their choice.
Do you require me to stay at any your hotel-partnership? Patients are not required to stay at any hotel in particular, you can reserve your own accommodations at any resort. We recommend you to choose a hotel near the area for medical appointments and ground transportation.
How much does the CCSVI treatment cost? The cost of the balloon angioplasty CCSVI treatment and testing is $6,500.00 USD. (conventional or non-medicated balloon)
How much does one medical balloon cost? The cost of each medicated or drug eluting balloons (Paclitaxel) is $3,000.00US each.
Are costs of complications included in the cost of the procedure? As any medical procedure complications can occur. The cost of the package is only for the angioplasty procedure. Insurance policy to cover
I had the CCSVI Treatment at your Clinic but I had restenosed. How much does a second treatment cost? The cost of the 2nd CCSVI balloon angioplasty procedure is $6,500.00USD.
What payment method is accepted? We accept VISA and MasterCard, to avoid complications, we request that you notify your credit card company or your banking institution of your intention to travel to Mexico and that you will be charging a large amount to your account.

Are any restrictions on medications before the procedure? Patients must still taking their regular medications unless bloodthinners.
