After reading the article "Goodbye to all that: a short history of CCSVI", published on a blog post by Stephen Lovatt. These were my thoughts:

I think this article (http://msj.sagepub.com/content/19/11/1425.full) is very good, in my point of view, it is the expression of truth.

The analysis made by specialists was brilliant.

I was not aware of what was going on in Canada regarding

the approach made by the media, the patient population,

the government policies and the interference of the press

in the way the MS treatment is conducted.

In mid-2012, I have made some research in the internet

on treatments available in many countries. I sent some emails and

I received some responses.

Among them an organization in Canada offering me

an opportunity to get better through this Liberation treatment.

I am a carrier of MS, Brazilian, physician and I admit that

I have believed in the impossible, despite this treatment

being technically improbable. This Canadian organization

gave me hope of improvement and sold to me

the venoplasty treatment and implant of stem cells at a high cost.

Unfortunately I believed in this fantasy .

I thought that a research organization based in Canada

would not be involved in any scientific process with an

outcome so doubtful.

Today I 'm sure the results reported by patients who went

through these procedures are purely subjective .

The pathology of this disease is very complex and there is still

no treatment for cure.

I want to emphasize, however, that being part of this social

network, with all the exchange of knowledge and experience,

is the best result that came throw after deciding to undergo

such treatment.
