NEWS For June 2014 Researchers at Columbia University report that they have identified a new component of the biological mechanism that controls blood flow in the brain. " The biomedical engineering team has demonstrated, for the first time, that the vascular endothelium plays a critical role in the regulation of blood flow in response to stimulation in the living brain."
Venous Angioplasty In Multiple Sclerosis: neurological outcome at two years in a cohort of relapsing-remitting patients 29 patients with relapsing-remitting MS ?had venoplasty and were followed for two years. 11 patients had repeat venoplasty, and 2 patients had three venoplasties for restenosis. Annual relapse rate and EDSS scores were significantly improved two years after the procedure compared to two years before the procedure. |
